Villa Viscontina is an old country villa recently restored and redecorated by the owner with great flair and paintstaking attention to details. A mix of antiques and modern design makes the rooms charming and comfortable at the same time. The villa is located on a hillside with ample view over the surrounding green lands, only 3 km away from the beautiful medieval hamlet of Lugnano in Teverina (with shops and restaurants). A lawned garden surrounds the villa where a panoramic swimming pool 12x5 ms is set. At guests disposal is also a large pergola, just in front of the swimming pool, furnished with tables and chairs. Perfect place for a relaxing an peaceful holiday Villa Viscontina is also a good starting point to visit the many interesting cities of Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio like Orvieto (30 Km), Amelia (10 Km)Viterbo (45 Km) Todi (60 Km), Assisi (100 Km). Rome is only 85 Km away and the access tot the motorway is less then 10 Km far. In the ray of of 50 Km are also the lakes of Bolsena, Bracciano, Piediluco and, a little farther, the seaside of Tarquinia (ancient etruscan site).

Interiors:

The property consists of the main villa and a depandance attached to the house.

The main house (sleeping 8) has entrance on the ground floor into a hall, large fully equipped kitchen/breackfast room (fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, etc.) with doors leading to the garden, sitting room with sofas and game table, 1 double bedroom with fourposter bed and private bathroom with shower, 1 large double bedroom with bathroom with bathtub.
First floor: 2 twin bedrooms each one with closet and private bathroom.

Dependance (sleeps 2): entrance from the garden into a very large sitting/library room with fireplace and 3 french doors leading onto the garden (when only the main villa is rented, this room can be required paying an extra), 1 big double bedroom, 1 hobby room with sofa bed, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 little kitchenette. Laundry room.

200 ms from the villa there is an annex used by the owner.
