Il Diamante di Rovero is owned and run with passion and love by the Favero family - Rita, Massimo and la mamma Carmela - who are always busy to welcome and accommodate their clients in the bosom of their comfortable and modern working farm. The agriturismo is situated 5 minutes drive from Acquapendente (shops and restaurants), at the northern point of Lazio on the border with Umbria and Tuscany, 20 km west of Orvieto, 15 km north of Lake Bolsena and only 135 km ( 1 hour drive) from Rome.  The location is suggestive of a natural amphitheatre with panoramic views of the medieval castle of Torre Alfina, the majesty of Monte Amiata, vineyards, fields, woods and pastures full of grazing cattle…

The estate comprises 2 different properties: Il Diamante, an old stone farmhouse with four apartments carved out of stables and private pool (ms 13x8); and Villa del Carbone, consisting of  the former Contessa’s villa and six apartments also carved out of stables. The villa and the apartments share a second swimming pool (ms 15x7,5). Totally the 3 properties can accommodate up to 40 people. You can chose among different types of accomodation: self catering, bed and breakfast, half board and full board.  Unlike most of the holiday farms, Il Diamante and the Villa accept also one-night reservations.

Both of the properties have beautiful dining rooms and furnished terraces where it is possible to taste the local produce.

At guests’ disposal also a large and lush garden with herbs and vegetables.

Each apartment of Il Diamante is provided with microwave and coffee maker, while the wood pizza oven and a stone barbecue are in common, as well as a library with english and italian books, a common room for rainy days activities and a children playground.

Guided tours, italian cooking lessons and other courses will be organized on site.

Description of the property

Diamante: Three 1 bedroom apartments (1 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor) + one studio on the ground floor

Casa del Carbone: Five 2 bedrooms apartments (4 on the first floor and 1 on the ground floor) and 1 one bedroom apartment (on the first floor).

Villa del Carbone: Entrance on the ground floor into a hall, sitting room, dining room with 2 fire places, fully equipped kitchen.

First floor: 2 double bedrooms each one with bathroom with bath tub en suite, 1 doubkle bedroom and 1 twin bedroom sharing  a bathroom with shower. Both in one of the double bedrooms and in the twin can be added 2 single beds.

Second floor: laundry room and, upon request one bedroom with bathroom for maid or babysitter.

Large private garden.
