The estate "Fattoria Galatrona", with its famous winery and prestigious production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, is located on the slope of the hills that overlook the Chianti region. The estate is only 1 kilometer away from the towns of Mercatale Valdarno and Bucine, 30 km from Siena, 30 km from Arezzo and 40 km from Florence. It is 7 km from the nearest highway that runs from Rome to Florence (A1 Valdarno exit). "Fattoria Galatrona" is immersed in the green olive groves, vineyards and oak and holm-oak woods that surround it. A place full of charm and history. The estate is dominated by the Tower of Galatrona up on the highest peak with its origin that can be traced back to the Etruscans and Romans, and that lends its name to the precious wines.
