Il Castiglione - Country farm Apartments and Bed and Breakfast Trasimeno lake Umbria Italy

Belonging to the same owners of Villa dei Cerry, 15 Km from Castiglion del Lago and 3 Km from the village of Fucecchio, this lovely country farm has been recently refurbished and split into 4 refined apartments, Girasole, Petunia, Margherita, and Tulipano, each one with twin bedroom or master bedroom, bathroom, living area with fireplace, couch bed for two, dining area and kitchen. The apartmetns share a beautiful garden and a lovely swimming pool (ms 6x12).

Inside the farm one can enjoy nature walks in the woods, keep close contact with the landscape and maybe catch a glimpse of the hares, deer and pheasants that inhabit this magical place. About 1 Km from the agriturismo is the  working farm of the family, a small green strip of immaculate oasis on the shores of the lake. The tepid waters of the Trasimeno create a micro climate that is ideal for every type of need. The agricultural farm is completely fenced in, protected from any kind of man made pollution. All animals present on the terrain such as pheasants, hares, hedge hogs, owls, and squirrels run free. Here are also bred cattle and ostriches and cultivated organic vineyards and olive groves. The stable houses around 250 milking cows.

Description of the apartments

Four 1 bedroom apartments (2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor)

Each apartment has a twin bedroom or a double bedroom with bathroom, living area with fireplace, sofa bed for two, dining area and fully equipped kitchen.
