Immersed in the green Umbrian hills, La Posta is at the meeting point of the old roads to Orvieto, Lake Trasimeno and Città della Pieve, just 15 minutes drive from Perugia. Once a horse changing post, the building has now been converted into a country house with a meticulous attention to furnishings and finishings.
The main house is flanked by two outbuildings divided into 7 lovely apartments. The owners have gone to great lengths to furnish each of the apartments in a style that is both elegant and homely, ideal for holidaymakers in search of quiet but exclusive country living.

The original house dates back to the 1700s, when it was an inn for travellers. Many of the original elements of the building still survive, such as the beamed ceilings and the main room with its large fireplace and massive arches, for an overall effect of charming antiquity both outside and in that blends idyllically with the surrounding countryside.
The portico, veranda, terraces, swimming pool and garden are ideal for enjoying to the fullest the pleasures offered by the green environment. Strategically placed at the heart of the region, in fact, La Posta is within easy reach of towns such as Assisi, 25 minutes away, and all the major sights of both Umbria and Tuscany such as Todi, Spoleto, Spello, Gubbio, Città di Castello, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Città della Pieve.
Composed of 8 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, the main house is also available for rent as a whole and can sleep up to 22 people.
