Guests to Podere San Giovanni are welcomed to the warm atmosphere that has been created in this old farmhouse. The interior is very attractive. Most of the furnishings have been designed or painted by the owner herself, and everything has been restored with particular care. Situated in a rural landscape, it is completely isolated, surrounded by vineyards, groves of olive trees, and fields that change their colors seasonally. The lovely swimming pool (mt 12x6) is beautifully situated with a vista over the surrounding hills. Less than 1 mile away is the small medieval village of Montoro, and in the main square there is an impressive castle belonging to the same owners,Marchesi Patrizi plus a very nice apartment that can be rented in addition to Podere S. Giovanni. For guests who wish to take advantage of local products, the owners of Podere S. Giovanni are also producers of very good olive oil and wine.

Accommodation:

Ground floor: Entrance from the garden is into a charming living room with sofas, fire place, telephon and TV set, large dining room with 12 seats and a very attractive cooking area supplied with cooker, fridge/freezer, oven, toaster, coffee maker; pantry with washing machine; one studio, a toilet 

First floor: Five twin bedded rooms which can be converted in double bedrooms, one of them has fire place and another one has bathroom en suite; two additional bathrooms. A door in the hall leads to a little terrace with a second entrance. Outside there a beautiful mt 6x12 swimming pool, a wood oven with a portico and a covered parking for one car. A cellar with wood for the fire places is at disposal of the clients.
