Residenza Le Grazie - Country farm Apartments and Bed and Breakfast Florence Tuscany Italy

Residenza delle Grazie is located on the hill of Settignano, in a protected panoramical area, which is only 15 minutes from Florence’s city centre. The residence is surrounded by the typical Tuscan countryside, dominated by olive trees, vineyards, cypresses and oak-trees. the ancient Florentine families had their country estates in this district. Originally the property belonged to the rich Florentine Cerretani family, and their coat of arms is displayed on some of the stone walls of the villa. In the XVIII century, the Residenza delle Grazie belonged to the Gondi Family, allies to the great Medici. After that it passed on to the Viviani della Robbia and the Marquess of Arcangeli. The Residenza delle Grazie is easy to reach because it is only 5 minutes drive from the A1 highway exit “Firenze Sud” (South Florence).

The recent restoration (2006) has maintained the original aspect of the Villa, with a high respect for the material and the colours of the florentine hills, preserving  the harmony between rural countryside and modern comfort, typical for the country estates of the Florentine high society. The Villa has six appartments.The original material has been maintained (stone,  timbers) and the “florentine taste” has determined the choice of the furniture. A special care was dedicated to modern needs and requests. Therefore each appartment has private bathroom, hairdryer, satellite tv, buzzer, internet access, completely equipped kitchen (including washing maschine and freezer), heating and air conditioning.

Guests can access all the rooms on the ground floor and the basement – kitchen and canteen – for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner if booked in advance.

MELOGRANI – (85 sqm) sleeps 2+2 – Two level apartment (ground floor and raised floor) –

three rooms: beatiful living room with fire place (not to use), kitchen/living room with doublesofabed, double (add.3^rd bed possible), 1 bathroom with shower. 

UVA – (85 sqm) sleeps 5 first floor - three rooms: kitchen/living room,  triple bedroom, double bedroom, batroom with shower.

FIGS – (60 sqm) sleeps 2+2 - two rooms with kitchen/living room with double sofabed, one double bedroom, another bedroom for two/three persons, and bathroom with window..

ORANGES – (50 sqm) sleeps 2+1 - ground floor  one room apartment with indipendent access from the courtyard, with sitting room, living room with single sofabed, sleeping area and a bathroom with shower. Suitable for handicapped people.

LEMONS – (50 sqm) sleeps 2+2 - two rooms. Kitchen/living room with double sofabed, double bedroom and bathroom with shower.

APPLES - (40 sqm) sleeps 2+1 - ground floor two rooms with indipendent  access from the courtyard. Kitchen/living room with single sofabed, double bedroom,bathroom with whower.

Each flat has dishwasher, fridge, electric cook tops,Satellite Television, air conditioning and heating, hair dryer, internet access (on request, pc not provided).
