The country residence of a charming Roman family with young children who have lived in Umbria for generations, Sofia is a large farmhouse set in extensive mature gardens in southern Umbria. Reecently decorated with great visual flair and attention to detail with bright, attractive, contemporary fabrics and furnished with country furniture, and rugs on restored terracotta floors, Sofia is a very comfortable and welcoming holiday home . Guests will gather in the large sitting room with deep sofas and armchairs covered in lovely yellow and red fabric. The kitchen with marble tops and grill is the venue for many families gathering and guests will gather here for convivial meals or outside in the shaded loggia. The first floor sitting room has comfortable sofas, TV and fireplace and doors leading out to a small shaded loggia. Extensive lawned gardens surround the house with mature trees. The lawns slope gently down to the pool, passing some swings on the way with terrace, built in 2000.
