Villa Amè just 15 minutes from the medieval jewel town of Gubbio, is nestled on gentle rolling hills overlooking the Chiascio river valley.
The Villa built 300 hundred years ago has been expertly restored to create an airy and spacious country retreat, furnished with a mix of precious antiques and designer items.
It is on two levels each of which has direct access to the garden. Villa Amè is centrally heated and fully air-conditioned.
The property is surrounded by manicured grounds.
On the west side of the villa there is a flat lawn with children games: swing, climbing wall, play house, slide and play inflatable pool 4x2mt 50cm deep.
Villa Amè an oasis of peace and tranquillity surrounded by magnificent country side is also a perfect starting base to explore Umbria , le Marche & Northern Tuscany.
Interiors
The main entrance is on the upper floor through an enclosed patio bursting with plants that leads you into the expansive living area (80sqmt/860sqft) with open air gourmet kitchen, fire place with wood burning oven, seating area with extra large sofa; entertainment is supplied by a satellite TV with home theatre system, a cordless telephone is furnished for guests convenience.
The upper level comprises also the extra large upstairs luxury bathroom (15sqmt/161sqft) with Jacuzzi and the library (15sqmt/161sqft) has two sofa/beds (the room if needed converts into a twin bedded room).The library leads into the indoor pool room 8x5x1.Amongst the large potted plants in the pool room (60sqmt/645sqft) are a sitting area and a fully equipped gym.
On the lower level connected by a spiral staircase to the upper level living area are all the bedrooms. The master suite (40sqmt/430sqft) has taken the place of the cows stall retaining the original wooden trough. Accessed by an original arched doorway, has travertine marble floors; a super king size bed; sitting area; satellite TV with home theatre system; desk with the wi-fi high speed internet router, printer-copier, fax with answering machine, cordless telephone; fireplace and direct access to the garden.
On the same level are one single bedroom, one twin bedded room, the utility area with washing machine, dryer and iron. Another extra large luxury bathroom (10sqmt/107sqft) with shower cabin and extra deep antique cast iron bath tub leads into the other double bedroom (15sqmt/161sqft) with canopied super king size bed, sitting area, hi-fi and private vine covered patio with outdoor round dining table for 4.
