La Torre  was originally a medieval tower which Tuscan soldiers used as a lookout.
It is a beautiful country home in a wonderful position with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, garden, large pool and panoramic views. The Tower is located at about 2 km distance from the small town of Monterchi, world famous for the painting from Piero della Francesca "Madonna del Parto" (a pregnant Madonna). 

Grassed paths through mature woods provide splendid opportunities for gentle walks or running, and continue throughout the vast, private parkland that surrounds the house. The vistas are absolutely splendid, looking over small hilltop towns and villages with the Apennine mountain range forming the backdrop in the far distance.

The immaculate, manicured garden is over 2 terraces with the swimming pool on the level above the house. From the paved poolside area guests may take full advantage of the magnificent vistas. A gazebo and many sun beds and chairs are at guest’s disposal.

Ground Floor: A wide and comfortable kitchen, equipped with: fridge, microwave,dishwasher, oven,  tea and american coffee making facilities, toaster and pottery. A traditionally decorated living room ( 45 sqm) with sofas, telephone (good for internet connection) with dining area with table and chairs for 10 people, authentic old fireplace ( not woking) dating back to 1894, sat TV, Hi-fi. Fully equipped laundry room.

First Floor: three double rooms with en-suite facilities and one twin room with en-suite bathroom as well. On request one of the double rooms can be set as a twin room. All the bathrooms are equipped with shower and hair dryer. 

Tower (independent entrance): ground floor with a lounge equipped with table, sofa and bathroom. At the first floor  a double/twin room. There is also a beautiful panoramic terrace, from which you can enjoy a lovely view over the valley.

Villa La  Torre is only 200m. from Villa il palazzo  away and renting the 2 houses together , it is possible to obtain a property sleeping 22 people.  ideal for a large group or weddings.
