Belpodere in Buonconvento is a farm-holiday location within a system of architectural and landscape recovery that fully respects its environment. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and rest , then come to this farmhouse in Tuscany and enjoy doing everything... or doing nothing but relaxing... Traditional materials typical of the area, sourced via accurate and detailed research, were used for the renovation. Located inside a large, privately-owned nature reserve, with many small and medium-sized woodland animals, it offers 6 finely-renovated flats to tourists, with views of Montalcino, Mount Amiata and the hills of Buonconvento and Siena. It is equipped throughout with quality, antique furniture, fitted with all modern comforts, with maximum level certification regarding safety and energy saving (underfloor heating via geothermal system, thermal and acoustic insulation, pool, and soon a Turkish bath and Finnish sauna will also be available). At guests disposal also a spacious main room offering panoramic views onto the Crete Senesi that surround Buonconvento and Montalcino. The room has a kitchen that can be shared with guest’s friends or travel companions.Again in the light of environmental recovery, owners restarted working the soil by restoring a small existing olive-grove and creating a new one with about 800 plants . The agricultural production of this small farm is therefore Pure Olive Oil ("extravirgin") from the Sienese Clay Hills . Livestock paths, numerous vineyards, olive-groves, truffle-grounds, and lush forests with oaks, ilexes, broom and hawthorn can be seen here. Its strategical position allows to reach some of the most important and interesting cities tuscan cities of art such as Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, San Gimignano Montepulciano and so on.
