IL CASTELLO is a luxury resort , located on a hilltop , in Northern Umbria , about 15 minutes drive from Assisi . Close to the most famous Foligno , Montefalco , Spoleto , Spello , Trevi .  It is the perfect place to spend your holidays in Umbria and to visit the most interesting cities of central Italy .  Lovers of wine and good food will find in the Castle a precious cellar and a delicious restaurant . Two panoramic swimming pool will allow you to relax enjoing the beautiful views over the surrounding valleys . Between the 10th and the 11th centuty, the area was divided into several small castles , monasteries and hillocks , among them the Castle , with its still visible Middle Ages hamlet .

Il Castello is an old hamlet with antique chiurch and castle, recently restored mantaining its original stucture and divided into three parts with 33 luxury apartements, ranging in size from 65 to 170 sq.ms, accommodating from 2 to 7 people.

Interiors:

All the apartments of the resort are spacious, charming and elegantly furnished with a particular attention to details .  All the rooms are intimate and cozy , making you feel at home .

Apt.type A- 2 sleeps, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom.

Apt. type B- 3 sleeps, 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedrrom, 1 bathroom.

Apt. type C- 4 sleeps, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathroom.

Apt. type D- 5 sleeps, 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 2 bathrooms plus 1 small bathroom.

Apt. type E- 7 sleeps, 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms.

Each apartment has free wifi connection and  is equipped with 40” TV , completely equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer , safe , minibar , telephone , hairdryer , bath and bed towels .

Most of the luxury apartement have a private porch or private area in the garden equipped with garden table and chairs .

Outside:

Two beautiful swimming pool are located in the sunniest part of the resort , in a position with views over the surrounding hills . One of them it is suitable for children with a minimum depth of 60 cms . Guests can enjoy the pool area equipped with sun chairs ,  sun beds and umbrellas .

The Restaurant offers place for 80 people and it’s decorated and furnished in light and natural shade . It welcomes guests in an elegant but cosy and romatic ambience , where  guests can spend pleasant time discovering the Umbrian cuisine in a testeful and surprising voyage .
