This stunning country villa is situated in 4 hectares of farmland in a glorious Umbrian valley surrounded by fields and olive groves,  immersed in ancient history close to Etruscan Narni (Narnia) and the many historical villages of central Italy.

1 ½ hours from Rome by train or car ; 2 ½ hours from Florence ; close to San Gemini and the archaeological site of Carsulae, Amelia, Todi, Spoleto, Orvieto, Trevi, Montefalco, Marmore waterfalls and  Piediluco lake, ‘Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso dei Monti Sibillini’ in the Sibillini Mountains with wild horses, and not far from Perugia, Gubbio and Assisi.

A place to chill in a peaceful, private simple garden or soak up the sun at the pool and listen to the many birdsongs. The house has 4 double bedrooms and 3 bath / shower rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and large living area opening onto a pergola covered patio overlooking the garden and with wonderful views across the valley.

There are many walks from the house which is not far from paths of the San Franciscan way, Il Cammino di San Francesco. There are also fabulous cycle routes from the house in many different directions cross country, on country and provincial roads – to little villages and along rivers ; and there are Rando cycle routes nearby.

Umbria is famous for its pork, wild boar, truffles, olive oil, wine, wild asparagus and simple delicious and seasonal cuisine.
